Starting with some of the most oldest vines from the Emporda region, placed in Mollet de Peralada, this is the most complex and large wine of La Vinyeta winery. A wine to enjoy unique moments, a perfect experience to pair with exquisite dishes. A reinterpretation of the wines from this terroir that has bring him to be selected as Wine of the Century of the Costa Brava, between the best red wines from the wine region Empordà. With an excellent punctuation in reference guides – like the 90 points from the Guia Peñin – and being recommended in La Vanguardia Magazine, Punt i apart can be found in the best catalan restaurants such us Celler de Can Roca in Girona.

Production
Sandy loam soils with good permeability. The harvest is handmade with a second selection on sorting tables. The elaboration is made individually for each grape variety. Fermentation is made at 26ºC. Malolactic fermentation is made in French, Hungarian and Rumanian oak barrels, where the wine will then rest for 5 months.

Tasting notes
Colour: Cherry coloured wine that leaves a trace in the glass.
Arome: High scent intensity that maintains primary aromas of ripe fruit, combined with tertiary aromas due to its aging in French, Hungarian and Rumanian oak.
Taste: Well balanced in mouth, fine tanines, fully integrated, giving complexity for a long trip in the bottle.
