Varieties
100% Cabernet Franc from the few vineyards of this variety we could find in Spain. One located in our property right in front of the sea and the other one on the north side of Sant Vicenç, both very closed to each other.

Elaboration
It was harvested on 18th September with an excellent sanitary state and an optimal point of maturation. It fermented during 12 days at 27ºC and macerated 6 days more. By the end of January 2009 we sent the wine to first year French oak barrels from Nevers where it made the malolactic. There it remained during 15 months. Afterwards the wine was clarified with gelatine and prepared for bottling.

Bottling date
It was bottled 2nd June 2010.

Total production
6.400 bottles of 75 cl. were bottled.

Brief remarks on wine tasting
This 2008 vintage is an especially elegant wine which its smoothness highlights above anything else. Pleasant reddish violet colour, their extensive range of floral aromas as the rose, iris and violet, together with some vegetable notes and mature red little fruits. 15 months in oak barrels confers a very distinctive character with a great structure and very elegant. It will evolve in a positive way during the next months and years (3 or 4). A very special wine for all those people who want to taste something different, special and unique in Spain.
