Digma 2004

Digma 2004

Winery: Bodegas Castillo de Sajazarra - Origin: Sajazarra (Rioja Alta) - Vintage: 2004 - Crianza (aging): Reserva - Wine type: Red - D.O.Ca.: Rioja

This single variety Tempranillo red wine comes from the cellar best estates, and only in exceptional years. It is the result of the climatic mixture of the soils from two estates; Fuentenegra and Galdara, merging the Atlantic influences of the first with the Mediterranean ones of the second. The malolactic fermentation is carried out in new French oak barrels, where they stay for a total of 14 months. It is a wine with an intense violet colour, which is very aromatic and full-bodied but also sweet and delicate. It is a very elegant wine that is now established on its own merits as one of the best in Spain.
