Thank you for visiting our online store. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by terms and conditions. If you do not accept any of the following terms and conditions, or are not of legal age, you should abstain from accessing this website.

Prices:
All of our prices include VAT.

Product availability:
Our products are home-produced using traditional methods, which means that we are not always able to guarantee their availability at our store. In the unlikely event that a product were unavailable at the particular time you place your order, we will contact you immediately to suggest a replacement product or to reimburse you with the relevant amount.

Shipping:
Under normal circumstances, the delivery period will be 48h for Spain and 72h for all other destinations (working days).
The maximum weight allowed per order is 30 kg. For heavier orders please contact us.
We are unable to dispatch products to PO Box addresses.

Exchanges and refunds:
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any of the products received, please contact us at info@vilagourmet.com within the maximum period of seven working days following receipt of the order. We will contact you as soon as possible to reach a satisfactory solution.

If a product arrives damaged as a result of transport, we will send you a replacement product or give you a full refund on you credit card (this will not be applicable if the products have deteriorated because the recipient was not able to receive the parcel). In any case, it will be necessary to send us a picture of the damaged product. If one or more products received do not correspond to your order, we will send you the correct products or give you a full refund on your credit card. In both cases, vilagourmet will meet all extra transport costs that may arise, provided that the product has not been used, disturbed or handled in any way.

Should you wish to return a product for any other reason or cancel your order, once we have received the goods back in their original packaging and in perfect condition, we will proceed to reimburse your credit card with the total price of your order, less any transport costs involved in returning your order. If your order has not yet been dispatched and you wish to cancel it, we will refund its total amount.

Please bear in mind that to allow us to process any exchange or refund it is essential that you previously contact our Customer Service (info@vilagourmet.com) within the maximum period of seven working days following receipt of the order. We will be unable to agree any refund unless we receive prior notification.

Alcoholic drinks:
You must be a minimum age of 18 in order to buy alcoholic drinks from our store. We will not send more than 10 bottles of alcoholic drinks per order to addresses outside Spain.

Verification of personal details:
We may, when appropriate, contact a customer and/or carry out some verifications, in order to ascertain the veracity of the personal information given.

Payment by bank transfer:
We may, when appropriate, request a customer to pay by bank transfer.

Description of products:
At vilagourmet we endeavour to describe our products as accurately as possible. However, the description of a food product is inevitably a subjective matter and, therefore, may depend on the individual perceptions of each customer. In any case, all our products have been selected on the basis of their superior quality. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, you may contact us at info@vilagourmet.com.

Security when paying by credit card:
vilagourmet guarantees you maximum security and confidentiality with your online purchase. In a similar way to an operation you would perform at a cash dispensing machine, when you purchase goods at vilagourmet, the details referring to your credit card are encrypted using the SSL security protocol and transferred directly to the relevant banking institution, which is the one to accept or reject payment. This way, the information transferred via the internet enjoys full security and vilagourmet does not hold these details at any time, which means it cannot either visualise or store them.
